    Sign up as a teacher and fill in your profile — subjects, classes you teach and languages.

    Upload your documents

    Identity proof and certificates for the levels you teach, as PDF or photos.

  3. Step 3

    We review them

    Our team checks each document, usually within 2 working days, and tells you if anything is missing.

  4. Step 4

    Start teaching

    Once verified, publish your course, open a batch and take your first class.

Teaching on Vidya — FAQ

Who can teach on Vidya?
Graduates with the eligibility certificates for the level they want to teach — for example a B.Ed for school classes or UGC-NET/SET for college. Competitive-exam mentors with strong subject credentials are welcome too.
How long does verification take?
Usually within 2 working days of submitting all required documents. If something is unclear, the reviewer will ask for more information instead of rejecting your application.
How do I get paid?
Each paid enrolment is credited to your earnings balance. Add your UPI ID to your profile and request a payout from the Earnings page whenever you like.
Can I set my own fees and run discounts?
Yes. You choose the price of each course, can make it free, and can create coupon codes for your own courses.
What do I need to teach a live class?
A laptop or tablet with a webcam, headphones and a stable internet connection. A pen tablet helps on the whiteboard but isn't required.
Can I teach in Hindi or my regional language?
Absolutely. Set the language of instruction on each course — students can filter by language when they browse.
